In this context “spam content” refers to unwanted, irrelevant, or unsolicited content that disrupts the group’s intended purpose and conversation. These posts can include self-promotional material, repetitive or identical messages, links to external websites or affiliate marketing schemes, or off-topic comments that add no value to the discussion. Spam posts can also include solicitation, phishing attempts, or malicious links. They often aim to exploit the group’s audience for personal gain, rather than contributing meaningfully to the community or topic at hand.
