In this context, “relevant” means that a submitted post should be related to the group’s topic. For example, a picture of your pet, while it may be adorable and show off how cute they are, has nothing to do with language, grammar, or writing and therefore is considered irrelevant to the group’s purpose.
Not everything relevant is fresh. For instance, synonym rolls just like Grammar used to make them, might be fresh from the oven and even delicious. However, the joke is old and worn out. If it’s something you’ve seen before, chances are we have as well. Although these types of posts may be uncommon, don’t despair if your post is rejected for lacking freshness.
